ABOUT BRISTOL BIKING GIRLS

Born from a passion for the open road and a vision of building a strong sisterhood, Bristol Biking Girls has evolved into a dynamic collective of over 670 members who share a common love for motorcycling and the freedom of the journey.
Bristol Biking Girls roared to life in 2016, filling a void by creating a haven for women riders to unite, learn, and flourish within the motorcycling realm. Our unity is sustained by core values that shape every twist of the throttle:
1. Empowerment: We're all about fueling empowerment through horsepower. Bristol Biking Girls encourages women to break stereotypes, conquer challenges, and unleash their full potential, both on the road and in their personal lives.
2. Inclusivity: Our diversity is our horsepower. We embrace riders of all ages, backgrounds, and skill levels, fostering an environment where each rider feels cherished, acknowledged, and motivated to contribute her distinctive viewpoint.
3. Unbreakable Bonds: At Bristol Biking Girls, we ride as a pack. We stand by each other, offering support, encouragement, and a shared love for conquering new routes together.
4. Skill Elevation: Whether you're a seasoned rider or just kick starting your motorcycling journey, we provide opportunities to refine your skills and exchange knowledge. From technical workshops to group rides, we're committed to helping every rider evolve.
5. Thrill of Discovery: Against the backdrop of Bristol's beauty, the delights of the South West and further afield, every ride is an invitation to explore uncharted territory, uncover hidden gems, and scrub lasting memories into the tarmac.
Join us as we hit the throttle, navigate the roads and experience the liberation, friendship, and gratification that Bristol Biking Girls embodies. Brace yourself for a journey that transcends handlebars—because Bristol Biking Girls is more than a group; it's a revolution of empowerment and inspiration.
THE FOUNDER OF BRISTOL
BIKING GIRLS
Stephanie Robertson, fondly known as Steph.Robo, founded Bristol Biking Girls in 2016 with a mission to unite female motorcyclists.
This community rapidly grew into a force for empowerment and connection. Steph's magnetic personality left an unforgettable impact; she fearlessly challenged conventions in life and motorsport and embraced her love for biking and friendship.
Her meticulous attention to detail extended to every aspect of her life, including nurturing her biking community. She brought women together, transcending differences and forging lasting bonds.
Tragically, Steph passed away in a road traffic collision in April 2022. Her memory inspires us to live authentically, ride boldly, and foster unity through shared passions.

TEAM BBG
Following the passing of founder, Stephanie Robertson, a dedicated group of Bristol Biking Girls community members formed "Team BBG" to carry forward Steph's remarkable vision and mission.
Committed to preserving Steph's incredible legacy, Team BBG passionately organises a diverse array of events throughout the year. From bike maintenance nights to weekends away, track days, confidence-building rides, and monthly social rides, we are driven by the same spirit of unity and empowerment that Steph instilled in us.
Each team member brings their own unique motorcycle story, with individual reasons for riding, and a wealth of knowledge and experience that they generously share with the wider Bristol Biking Girls community.
Together, we ride on in her memory, forging connections, and continuing the journey she started.
